The T&TP Expert Workshop was held at the Barnsdale Hall Hotel on Rutland Water from the 18th to the 21st Octoberber 2004. Some 50 scientists attended.
The aim of the meeting was to explore the main issues and directions in atmospheric chemical oxidation and transport, and to lay the basis for future cooperative work and a set of authoritative reviews in each of the fields.
The meeting was organised around guided discussions on four topics with a leader and rapporteur for each discussion group.
Chemical complexity
Leader: Andreas Volz-Thomas Rapporteur: Johnathan Williams
Chemical weather
Leader: Øystein Hov Rapporteur: Mark Lawrence
Chemistry/climate interactions
Leader: John Pyle Rapporteur: Maria Kanakidou
Long Range Transport
Leader: Kathy Law Rapporteur: Claire Reeves
After submission and editing, the outcome will be a strategy document for T&TP and eventually articles on these topics in refereed journals.
