Funding for transnational access (TNA) of users to research aircraft is directly provided through the European Fleet for Airborne Research (EUFAR). EUFAR/TNA is offered to the 24 instrumented aircraft facilities indicated below, and includes financial support for travel and subsistence, scientific and engineering support for integration of existing instruments, planning of field campaigns and data analysis. More information on how to apply for transnational access and information about aircraft availability and instruments can be found on the EUFAR website. ACCENT and EUFAR funding opportunities are complementary, as EUFAR may support access to an aircraft while ACCENT "Access to Infrastructures" may support implementation of new instruments on the aircraft. ACCENT may also offer additional opportunities of funding (not included in EUFAR) as for example the implementation and /or the calibration of new airborne instruments. ACCENT proposals for research aircraft must be accompanied by joint proposals to EUFAR. For more information on how to apply for financial support, please click here. |
