Tyndall Conference 2011
The Tyndall Conference 2011 is being held 150 years after the publication of Tyndall’s seminal paper on the role of atmospheric greenhouse gases in controlling the Earth’s temperature. The conference will examine the work and legacy of John Tyndall, his contribution to climate science, and our current understanding of the role of greenhouse gases in regulating global climate. It will also address a number of current areas of scientific interest including climate feedback issues.
Scientific abstracts are invited on the areas of
- Global Warming Potentials and other metrics for radiative forcers, including aerosols
- Climate feedbacks: the current science
