The first summer-school on atmospheric aerosol and clouds of the Leibniz Institute for Tropospheric Research. The following topics will be covered: - properties of atmospheric aerosol and of clouds (warm, mixed-phase and cold clouds) - a broad range of instrumentation measuring different aerosol and cloud properties, including airborne measurements - overview on important atmospheric chemistry processes - overview on different modelling issues - professinally taught scientific writing and presentation skills The summer school aims at providing the basic knowledge and a broad overview on atmospheric aerosol and clouds. It addresses PhD-students from early on in their career. The summer-school will take place at the Sportpark Rabenberg (http://www.sportpark-rabenberg.de/) The summer-school will host 20 students.
