BIAFLUX contribution to National Science Week, UK

BIAFLUX supported  "The Carbon Cycle Challenge", an activity part of the National Science Week in the UK.

A band of willing volunteers ran a National Science Week event at the Glasgow Science Centre (UK) on 19 March 2006.

The Carbon Cycle Challenge was a giant board game, where the player is a carbon molecule moving around the carbon cycle, collecting time for staying out of the atmosphere - so there were big squashy dice, spinners, ink stamps and lots of balloons!

The event went really well - the Science Centre had about 800 visitors on Sunday, and over a quarter of them came through the room, with most of them playing the game.
